LOST JEWELS OF THE GHAWAZEE TO PERFORM FOR WRC

Reminiscent of the steamy sands of a distant Sahara oasis and the sultry nights of seductive speakeasy of the roaring twenties, the ethnic fusion belly dancing troupe, The Lost Jewels of the Ghawazee will delight you with their skill and beauty when they appear as the featured entertainment during the WOMEN'S RESOURCE CENTER GALA "Movers-Shakers-History Makers" on Thursday evening, March 18th at the Park Inn Gateway Conference Center.  Celebrating the role of women in history, the fundraiser will include a buffet dinner, cash bar, historic displays, period memorabilia, music and film of the era, the presentation of writing awards to local students and a limited silent auction.

For those guests attending in 1920s attire, there will be a costume contest.  Tickets to this unique event are available for $50 ($25 is a tax deductible donation).  For more information about the gala and to reserve your seats call 828-322-6333.
